Join the Coleman Center for the Arts and One Mile Garden Program Director Catherine Shelton for a public harvest the week of July 24. The One Mile Garden is a collaborative project with artists, the Coleman Center, and the community of York, Alabama. Shelton will guide participants through a public pick, basic horticulture, and community garden best practices.
Participants should wear clothes that can get dirty. Bring sunblock, a water bottle, your bug repelant of choice, and be ready to work! Remember your bag(s) to take your summer garden goodies home. This is a free, kid and adult friendly event.
