Please join the CCA in celebrating the creative work of our 21st Century Summer Enrichment students in the Altman Riddick gallery from July 11-18. Opening reception to be held from 10am -11am on July 11th.
This summer students from Kinterbish and York West End Junior Highs studied the work of Alabama artist Lonnie Holley and made sculpture and assemblage inspired by his life and work. Found materials and imagination ruled the day as students used creative problem solving, spatial reasoning, and critical thinking to build their unique pieces.
